WormSmart Waste Systems is an Australian owned and operated Company. Its Director, Tony Linden, has been involved with water filtration for some 20 years. Tony jointly owned and operated the first slim line can filling plant in Australia. He sold one of his company's water filtration plants to the CSIRO. He has been involved in all aspects of filtration in his company's manufacturing role as Beverage Manufacturers and also with Septic Tank and Waste Water Treatment in his role as a Registered Domestic Builder. He has been in the Building Industry since he was 15 years of age and was first registered as a Builder in 1989. Since then he has been involved in many building projects over the years which also involved the treatment of waste.
Tony recognised the need for a better system. He analysed the majority of waste treatment systems available in Australia then set about to develop this company's own unique system. The result – WormSmart. The system incorporates WormSmart's proprietary filtration system along with a unique dual port entry and nature's wonder – WORMS!
Although processing and filtering human waste is a less exacting science than Tony’s previous experience called for he is no less enthusiastic about this than he was on those projects. Tony once appeared on the then very popular program “Healthy, Wealthy and Wise” through his role in the beverage industry. He is, as part of the company, currently working in conjunction with the University of Victoria for a project in Nepal.
